The Ideal Pocket Monster Tales: Z-A Super Form According to the Astrological Sign

This return of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited immense excitement across the community. From the one-by-one unveiling of fresh additions ahead of the game's release, to players developing strong views on the entire roster of Mega Evolutions, there's plenty for enthusiasts to anticipate.

With many of the Super Forms boasting distinctive appearances that highlight their traits, one thought came to mind: What's the best way to link this with astrology? The following is based on a mix of intuition, sign stereotypes, and personal experience.

The Ram – Super Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndoom was almost selected for Aries, as both are the Super Form and astrological sign that evoke the greatest apprehension. However, a Mega Houndoom comes across as constantly furious, which isn't typical of the Aries vibe, renowned for being fun, cheerful, and impulsive. That's why Aries much more similar to Super Camerupt, which only spews lava when provoked. Stay on the friendly side of both and enjoy a powerful partner; if you cross them, be ready to face the consequences.

Taurus – Super Heracross

Much like a devoted Taurus, the reliable Heracross species, both in its regular and Mega form, has aided many players in Legends: Z-A. Though dependable, each the Pokémon and a Taurus are also battle-oriented, and – whether it's their trainer or a strong opinion – will defend their position unwaveringly. What about Super Heracross that reminds me most of my Taurus friends, however, is its unashamed passion for snacks. Many previous official descriptions mention their fondness for tasty tree sap and how it employs its horn to collect it everything, which is pure Taurus energy.

Gemini – Mega Medicham

Look at this absolute royalty. It's impossible to convince me this creature is not the soul of any gathering, providing an endless stream of chatter to those who wish to listen. Much like an captivating, gregarious Gemini, it's incredibly simple to envision Mega Medicham mesmerizing an whole Wild Zone with their stories. This Pokémon's official description also states its ability to foresee an enemy’s future actions, which seems very similar to a people-smart Twins.

Cancer – Mega Manectric

The Crab is commonly considered as the most sensitive sign of the astrological wheel, a passionate symbol known for frequently getting wrapped up in their emotions. Per the official info, Super Evolution charges the creature with a “huge quantity of energy, but it's excessive for this Pokémon to fully manage,” which seems a lot like a classic Cancer crash-out. This Pokémon is also recognized for its ability to create a thundercloud over its own head – and if there’s a single trait a Crab is likely to do, it’s rain on their own parade.

The Lion – Super Starmie

Oh, did you think I was planning to select Pyroar for the lion of the stars? Aside from the fact that it would be far too obvious, The Lion is obviously Mega Starmie, the diva whose gams just became an internet sensation for being too fabulous (or terrifying, depending on your taste). Players were captivated from the purple starfish, and that’s exactly the same energy a Lion brings to the table. This Pokémon is also rumored to be broadcasting signals from its red core out into the cosmos, and it’s just like a Lion to be staging a show, even if for aliens.

The Maiden – Super Victreebel

The ever-prepared and perpetually-anxious Virgo is ideally encapsulated in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with constant acid reflux. The sign known for being charmingly judgmental is clearly mirrored across this creature's whole evolutionary chain, from a perpetually shocked face like a Maiden when you inform them you lack a retirement plan, to its upside-down face that’s similar to the symbol a Maiden posts to the chatroom when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” rather than making a strategy.

Libra – Super Audino

Look at this gentle, sensitive creature, who uses the sensors on its auditory organs to tell how others are feeling by their heartbeat. Always compassionate – occasionally to a fault – and trying to maintain the harmony, there are many Scales who would likely benefit from Mega Audino’s skills. However, let’s be honest, it would probably just make them stress even more about everyone else.

Scorpio – Mega Banette

Banette is a creature with a surprisingly sad origin: Discarded as a toy, it gained sentient through sheer resentment and swore retribution on its former owner. According to the official info, Super Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That seems precisely like many discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpion acquaintances. A Scorpion adores karma and comeuppance, making them the ideal pair with Super Banette.

Sagittarius – Super Hawlucha

Each Mega Hawlucha and Archers are always putting on a performance. Being a Sagittarius personally, the number of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “playful little entertainer” is countless. The most flamboyant and most attention-seeking Mega Evolution, its description even mentions how it “flexes to display its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Sagittarius counterpart I can imagine.

The Goat – Super Absol

Did you know that a Super Absol has the power to predict calamities ahead of time? That gives the exact same vibe as a Capricorn, who tends to always think they’re right. Interestingly, similar to a visionary Super Absol, they often are. It’s also the very initial Super Form that players encounter in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Goat to join the beginning of the Super Form craze.

The Water Bearer – Mega Chandelure

Aloof element Water Bearer is arguably the non-fire placement that is most like a fire sign – its sister sign is Leo, and there are numerous jokes about Sagittarius and Water Bearer being chaotic partners in crime. Mega Chandelure’s double Spirit/Flame category fits seamlessly with this, and the Super Form's general daunting aura is also very Water Bearer. If you weren’t already persuaded, the Super Form's description says it “absorbs hatred and transforms it into power.” If that fails to perfectly {encaps
