LA Explodes in Celebration as Los Angeles Dodgers Claim Second World Series Championship
Los Angeles experienced citywide festivities after the Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-game World Series championship. Supporters across the globe united with Angelenos in celebration, marking the first time in 25 years that a franchise has achieved consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Massive Crowds
Los Angeles area celebrations featured a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
Online footage depict countless of Los Angeles residents packing downtown streets, many displaying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the masses, hoisting the championship trophy high.
